Candidates in Focus is a nonpartisan election series that provides candidates with a platform to speak directly to voters through short video segments distributed on television and online. I led coordination across marketing, visual support and production timelines, helping ensure smooth scheduling and on-time delivery of content across multiple platforms.
Why it matters: Candidates in Focus promotes transparency, encourages civic engagement, and ensures equal airtime, especially for grassroots and first-time candidates who may not have access to traditional media exposure.
Youth Vote 2024
Youth Vote 2024 invited young people across Hawai‘i to submit their own questions for political candidates, with selected submissions featured in recorded interviews. I produced and edited the full Youth Vote segment and created all supporting graphics, ensuring a cohesive and engaging viewer experience that centered youth voices in the election process.
Why it matters: Youth Vote creates a meaningful bridge between young citizens and political leadership, nurturing early civic awareness and giving future voters a platform today.
