Digital Equity Innovation Awards

Oʻahu Producer

Contributions

In support of Hawai‘i’s first-ever Digital Equity Innovation Awards, I served as the lead producer for the Oʻahu segment of this statewide initiative honoring individuals and organizations working to close the digital divide.

I was responsible for:

  • Coordinating and conducting interviews with honorees and community leaders

  • Producing and directing on-location shoots across the island

  • Interviewing guests on camera, capturing authentic, story-driven moments

  • Managing and organizing all footage for editors to ensure a smooth post-production process

The final segments were broadcast during Digital Inclusion Week and showcased on state and partner platforms, recognizing efforts across Hawai‘i to improve digital access, literacy, and equity.

This project highlighted community-driven innovation, and I’m proud to have helped tell the stories of Oʻahu’s changemakers through thoughtful, place-based storytelling.
